Honeycomb Platter

Print
This platter comes from dbO Home, a collection of handmade, hand-glazed one-of-a-kind ceramics produced in the home studio of artist Dana Brandwein Oates.

The inspiration for Dana's Honeycomb series came from her friend Sophie, who keeps bees at Meili Farm, just down the road from the ceramist's studio in northwestern Connecticut. When Sophie shared her honeycomb starter thinking the pattern might be interesting in clay, a new collection was hatched.

The platters are hand-cut and -formed, making each unique.
