MAKES 1 COCKTAIL

This creamy, frothy, one-of-a-kind cocktail comes from the Pine Club, an elegant, cozy supper club in Dayton, Ohio. For more about the classic steak house food at the Pine Club and other road trip favorites, see "Adventures in Good Eating", June/July 2008.

1 oz. crème de almond
1 oz. crème de cacao
1 oz. half and half
1/8 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg

1. Pour crème de almond, crème de cacao, and half and half over 1/2 cup crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. Cover shaker and shake vigorously until drink is frothy, slightly diluted, and well chilled, 10–15 seconds.

2. Strain and pour the drink into a cocktail glass or a small wineglass. Sprinkle nutmeg over top.
