Across America, Independence Day is observed in countless parks, beaches, and backyards with family and friends gathering together to enjoy a day of patriotic festivities and all-American foods.

Through the years, we've visited the many nooks and crannies of this great land of ours, seeking out the best of authentic American cuisine. From the frigid reaches of the nation's "Last Frontier" (where we spent a very memorable Alaskan Fourth of July) to the sultry Deep South, and from the crab-filled waters of Chesapeake Bay through the farms and ranches of the heartland to the California coast, we've chronicled a wealth of culinary riches right here at home.

To help you commemorate our nation's birth with a meal befitting the occasion, we've specially selected some of our favorite dishes—from some of our favorite places—for our exclusive Independence Day menu.

All-American Independence Day Feast
