I got a new meat/food grinder and am eager to try grinding my own meat and ingredient combinations for some great burgers.

I too love In-N-Out Burger and as far as chains go, it's at or near the top. But what about the one-offs that offer up a unique burger, with fresh ingredients? Joe's Farm Grill has such a burger.

I see the subbmission date has been extended. I got mine in on time :-)

BLT Burger in NYC is great. Big, juicy burgers with great shakes.

The Original DB Burger with foie gras and black truffles at DB Bistro Moderne is pricy but also the best!

The bison burger with the rosemary bun at Sepia on Jefferson St in Chicago is awesome. It's everything a burger should be, juicy, flavorful, comforting, a bit surprising and delicious. I hope it makes your list!
