Lemony thyme, sweet basil, and musky lavender are simple to grow at home in Anthropologie's glass and paulowina wood tabletop terrarium, which can also serve as a whimsical centerpiece. Cultivated using a gardening technique that dates back to the 1800s, herbs are housed under a glass dome in a miniature greenhouse. It's elegant and functional, and in a short time, you can grow anything from cilantro (to add to your Bahamian fruit salad) to mint (to garnish your evening cocktail).

We used to grow all sorts of herbs and vegetables in our backyard. It's a proud moment to cook from your own produce. To break off a tomato or fresh mint and make a salad...that all changed when we moved to an apartment...but it doesnt have to be so..this gives me a good reason to start again :-)
