Top Chef Masters
SAVEUR's editor-in-chief James Oseland puts his well-educated palate to work as he participates as a judge for Bravo's popular reality show Top Chef Masters. In this companion program to the popular series Top Chef, twenty-two veteran chefs—including Marcus Samuelsson (of Aquavit, Red Rooster), Jody Adams (of Rialto), and Wylie DuFresne (of WD-50 in New York City)—face elimination or advancement as they compete in hair-raising challenges, like making family-friendly dishes for the cast and crew of Modern Family and re-inventing traditional pub fare. It is up to Oseland and his fellow judges—Gael Greene, the longtime New York City restaurant critic, and the British journalist Jay Rayner—to taste and evaluate the results. The meals are almost always delicious and never less than great fun.
