Menu: A Classic Birthday Party

We haven't yet met a kid (or a grown-up, for that matter) who doesn't love a birthday party with pizza and cake. Whether the guest of honor will be blowing out six candles or sixty, these childhood favorites make for a perfect celebratory meal: easy pizza Margherita, the cheesiest Southern mac 'n' cheese, sweet and salty maple-bacon popcorn, fresh juicy watermelon, and bright, sweet fruit punch. And, of course, the most important part: layers of rich yellow cake and fudgy chocolate icing, with ice cream on the side.
