Planning Tips

  1. Prepare the sweet orange buns the day before and store them in the fridge overnight; the next morning, simply pop them in the oven to bake. The dough for the refrigerator rolls can be made up to a week in advance and stored in the fridge; bake them off at the same time as the orange buns.

  2. Tortilla Española, the Spanish take on frittata, is often served at room temperture. Prepare the dish the day before and store in the fridge overnight. In the morning, simply bring it to desired temperature. The sausage and peppers can also be made the day before and either served cold or re-heated.

  3. The combination of tomato, orange, and lime juice, plus a splash of Tabasco, in the Swedish Vampire makes it the perfect drink to perk you up after a long night. If you've got leftover bubbly you want to serve instead, see 10 Champagne cocktails perfect for brunch »
