More About This Menu

  1. The Super Bowl is primetime for large numbers of smaller dishes. This can mean lots of prep work on gameday if you make it all yourself. Divide the menu between friends to reduce the amount of prep work, or make as much of it ahead as you can: The artichoke dip, deviled eggs, pizza dough, and desserts can all be made at least a day before serving. Be sure to make extra yogurt sauce for the wings in advace so you don't have to spend the halftime show mixing sauces.

  2. Tailor your beverages to suit your team affiliation by using locally-made ingredients. For Patriots fans, use the new Samuel Adams Alpine Spring Lager in your Michelada. For Giants fans, mix your Chilled Cider Punch with Tuthilltown Spirits' Hudson Baby Bourbon Whiskey.

  3. Instead of having everything laid out all at once at the beginning of your party, bring out a new dish every quarter or so throughout the game.Save the pizza and wings until half time, and the desserts for the fourth quarter.
