Copper and Steel Roasting Pan

Every successful Thanksgiving dinner begins with a great roasting pan. In my case, it's the Mauviel M'héritage copper and steel rectangular roasting pan—a heavy duty pan that doesn't warp at high temperatures, and is used extensively in professional kitchens. Its beautiful copper exterior conducts heat evenly, while the shiny stainless steel interior is easy to clean and the bronze handles are large enough to hold with bulky oven mitts. I like to fit a V-rack inside my pan so that the turkey is lifted up and roasts evenly. With high sides and a heavy bottom, this roasting pan easily goes from the oven to the stovetop for gravy-making. And because it has a gorgeous old-world look, it's great on the Thanksgiving dinner table too.

Definitely a luxury piece and completely unnecessary as far as utility is concerned.
