FROM THE RECIPE:

Fall is the perfect season for baking with apples. The apples are so good right now...and cheap too. I decided to create an apple cinnamon cookie bar since I already created an apple cinnamon cookie earlier this fall. You all know I love my cookies.

Link is broken. I was able to find it at twopeasandtheirpod by using search, but I do think that the link should work.
twopeasandtheirpod seems to have a lot of great recipes, though, so it's worth going over there and browsing. These bars really do look good, and living in the NE, I'm very happy to have another use for apples.
