I'm always on the lookout for recipes that I can use to make our leftovers "special" in their next appearance on our dinner table and I have a great one to share with you for leftover green beans. This past summer, Beth Freeman and her husband Eric (who heads up the Indiana Artisan Program) came to Dirtpatch for a summer supper. Beth brought the most delicious side dish. The minute I tasted it, I thought it would be a great way to cleverly disguise leftover green beans! But I have to tell you that this dish is so good that if you don't have any leftover green beans right now it's worth cracking open a jar of your best canned green beans to make it.
