On a cold winter night with a cup of spiced coffee, curled up with a good book!
My former co-worker would bring this cake in for birthdays or any other occasion where a dense, satisfying sweet, sticky marvel was indicated. I have now made it and it is remarkably easy and the results are exceptional. Pretty to look at and a decadent pleasure. Five stars from me for sure.
