Italian Plum Cake
Sweet and small Italian plums are the stars of this simple cake.

RECIPE:
Spread half of the batter in the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and arrange the plum halves, cut sides up, on top of the prebaked batter. Carefully spread the remaining batter evenly over the plums. Return to the oven and bake until the cake is lightly browned on top, 50 to 55 minutes.
