not what i expect or know as a philly. grilling the onions, yes. but they are't even in the list of ingredients. garlic too. but where are the the bell peppers. essntial. they fulfill the flavo=r of philly. also not impressed with the cheese sauce. use swiss / or mozz/ or even monterey.

Sounds pretty authentic to me. Most folks outside of Pennsylvania don't realize that an authentic sandwich doesn't have bell peppers on it. That's a dead giveaway that the purveyor doesn't know what he is doing. Kind of like putting Ketchup on a Chicago Hot Dog. The somewhat nondescript cheese sauce is also as I remember it. Sure you can change the original, but to what purpose?
