Three-Ginger Gingerbread
Ground, fresh and candied, ginger gives this cake wonderful aroma and spiciness.

I make this with supplies on hand and what was on hand for the frosting was sourcream, so baked the recipe in a bundt cake pan. The cake was light and delicate, but sour cream with confectioners sugar is not good. I liked the texture of this cake, but question the need for beer in gingerbread.
