Where can you shoot pool in between bites of rich goat curry and spicy vindaloo?
Taurat Tandoori is a bright and cheery Indian-Bangladeshi restaurant in
a corner of Koreatown with a somewhat incongruous pool table smack dab in the middle of the dining area. You're welcome to shoot a few games, though it might prove difficult to drag yourself away from your meal.
Goat is the specialty here: goat curry, goat korma, and goat biriyani. Owner Mohammed Hossain buys and slaughters all his meat according to halal practices, ensuring the meat is fresh. The vindaloo is spicy, Mohammed will warn you, but it's also delicious—and the pool table is free of charge. How can you beat that?
