Here is a delicious value-priced red for drinking at summer cookouts and barbecues. It shows dark plum and red berry fruit, enhanced by toasty, smoky nuances. Unlike many inexpensive merlots, there is nothing overtly sweet or candied about it. Instead, it offers full, satisfying flavor in a soft, supple style, so will be sure to please.
