Palandri, Western Australia Riesling 2006

Imported by Palandri America ($12)

Not all Riesling comes sweet. Those from Western Australia tend to be very dry, with crisp fruit flavors (think granny smith apples, lemons and limes) and a steely finish. Intensely flavored, with plenty of bright acidity, they also can age well, developing enticing nuances of aroma and flavor over time. This particular example is delicious, and a steal at the price.
