One Good Find: Saucy Sister Caramel Sauce

Luscious, sweet caramel sauces from Saucy Sister

Recently, I've been on an ice cream-making kick in attempt to seize the final weeks of summer, filling my freezer with too many tubs of mango frozen yogurt and vanilla ice cream for my family to keep up with. After eating all of that ice cream, we were all in need of an exciting topping to make it taste like new again, and Saucy Sister's luscious caramel sauces fit the bill. Creamy and smooth, the Virgin Vanilla Bean salted caramel is flecked with real vanilla bean and has just the right balance of salty and sweet—it tastes like the perfect homemade caramel I always wish mine would resemble. The Rum Away with Me is a little thinner thanks to the rum, which adds a welcome boozy kick and coconut-y undertones that make me want to reach for more. Along with a pinch of sea salt, it would be an ideal complement to a scoop of butter pecan, or a scoop of vanilla atop banana bread pudding—I'm sure I'll be dreaming up different pairings until my freezer is empty and ice cream season is long gone.
