This recipe, from the blog Tartelette, was based on one from The Sweet Melissa Baking Book (Studio, 2008) by Melissa Murphy, a baker from Brooklyn, New York. Although the recipe is for a ten-inch pie, the blog post points out that you can also use it to make eight small tarts.
