Serrated Peeler

By Anna Stockwell

Published on August 30, 2012

The easiest way to peel a batch of peaches is by blanching (see our video to learn how), but when I want to peel just one little peach to slice on top of my morning yogurt, I can't be bothered with boiling a pot of water. I don't like peaches with their fuzzy skins still on, so my serrated peeler solves this problem perfectly, gently slipping off the peel without wreaking all sorts of havoc on the delicate flesh like a normal peeler or knife would. It also works magic on a delicate tomato skin when needed.
