Green Goddess Dressing

According to food authority Marion Cunningham, this dressing was created circa 1925 at San Francisco's Palace Hotel.

Ingredients

  • 1 (2-oz.) can anchovies
  • 3 tbsp. chopped fresh chives
  • 3 tbsp. tarragon vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 12 tsp. salt
  • Black pepper to taste

Put anchovies, chives, vinegar, lemon juice, sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, salt, and pepper in a blender and blend until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until needed. Refrigerate for up to 1 week.
