Biscuitville

The first morning I'm back home in North Carolina is always a Biscuitville morning. This fast-food chain is an old-fashioned gem in a modern world. The first Biscuitville opened in Danville, Virginia, in 1975; today there are 50 stores in North Carolina and Virginia. Oh, those biscuits! Flaky to the point of crumbling, slightly salty, and pillowy soft on the inside, this is the quintessential Southern biscuit.
