SAVEUR Wins Beard Awards

Congratulations to SAVEUR Editor-in-Chief James Oseland, who won a James Beard Foundation Award for his cookbook, Cradle of Flavor: Home Cooking from the Spice Islands of Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.

SAVEUR also won two awards in the Journalism category: Magazine Feature Writing with Recipes, **for the March 2006 feature _Ireland—From Farm to Fork _by Colman Andrews; and **Magazine Feature Writing About Restaurants and/or Chefs with or without Recipes for _Vive le Restaurant_ by James Villas, which appeared in April 2006.

The two-day event was held May 6-7 in New York City, and recognized outstanding achievement in the fine food and beverage industry. Awards were given in 62 categories, including those for restaurants, chefs, journalism, broadcast media, restaurant design, and books.
