Located in a former brothel that’s tucked into a courtyard in the city’s central market, Machane Yehuda, Casino de Paris boasts some of the holy city’s most stupendous sips.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. boukha (Tunisian spirit made from figs)
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 12 oz. grenadine
  • Ground cardamom, for garnish
  • Mint sprig, for garnish
  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine boukha, lemon juice, and grenadine in an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Sprinkle with cardamom; garnish with mint sprig and pomegranate seeds.
