A jalapeño-infused, blood-colored tequila and beet cocktail, the Moradita (“Little Death”), is a fresh, nearly healthy-tasting drink with some real body and a balancing hint of elegant richness.
- 2 tbsp. beet purée
- 3⁄4 oz. triple sec
- 1⁄2 oz. jalapeño-infused tequila (such as Dulce Vida)
- 1⁄4 oz. lime juice
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a coupe glass.
