Like an adult version of Hawaiian Punch, this cocktail from Monkeypod Kitchen in Hawaii’s Ko Olina is a balance of sweet liqueurs, fruit juices, and red wine. It first appeared in our October 2013 issue with the article A Toast to Paradise.
- 2 slices each lemon, lime, and orange
- 1 oz. amaretto
- 1 oz. orange liqueur
- 1 oz. orange juice
- 1 oz. pineapple juice
- 2 oz. sparkling white wine
- 1⁄2 oz. red wine
- Muddle 1 slice each lemon, lime, and orange in a goblet. Add ice, amaretto, orange liqueur, and fresh orange and pineapple juices; stir. Top with sparkling white wine; using the back of a spoon, float red wine on top. Garnish with a slice of lemon, lime, and orange.
