Menu: Thanksgiving for Two

Thanksgiving doesn't always have to be a huge, elaborate event. It can be the perfect excuse to relax and spend quality time with your special someone. The simplicity of this menu, which includes no-fuss comforting fare like spiced pecans, stuffed turkey breast, and baked sweet potatoes, ensures an anxiety-free holiday. Keep it simple; the most important part of a Thanksgiving menu for two is the person you get to share it with.

More About This Menu

  1. If you have a favorite family Thanksgiving recipe, but you think it might be too much food for two, simply cut the measurements for the ingredients in half. Remember to adjust cooking times and temperatures accordingly.

  2. All of the sides chosen for this menu are very easy to adjust for two people: Cut the green bean and cranberry salsa recipes in half, and bake one sweet potato per person. If you want to save time day-of, the cranberry salsa can be made the night before.

  3. The turkey breast roulade recipe serves up to six; if you don't want lots of leftovers for sandwiches, request a smaller turkey breast (around 2 lbs) from your butcher.

  4. Make sure to prepare a third of the maple pot de crème for the perfect, just-for-two portion.
