The photo shows a layer of salami (or other salumi) which is not mentioned in the recipe. And are now writing for 5 year olds? I think anyone older than 5 could make this sandwich without the article. This is very disappointing.
Bauru (Brazilian Roast Beef Sandwich)
Brazil's bauru smothers roast beef with melted mozzarella and tomato. This recipe first appeared in our April 2011 special Sandwich Issue with author Mauricio Velázquez de León's article South of the Border.

SERVES 1
1 6" crusty Portuguese roll
4 slices deli roast beef
3 slices tomato
6 dill pickle chips
2 1⁄4"-thick slices mozzarella
Heat oven to 350°. Split roll lengthwise and place roast beef, tomato, pickles, and mozzarella on bottom; cover with top bun and place on a baking sheet. Bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes; serve hot.
