Recipe Comix: Kreplach

"Draw us a recipe." That's the brief we sent to a slew of our favorite comic artists; each week, we're thrilled to present what they sent back. The resulting works of art are fantastic, beautiful, hilarious, thoughtful, informative, and often all of the above — and they prove that a recipe doesn't just have to be words on paper.

Today's comic comes from Esther Werdiger, a cartoonist, writer, podcaster, and Australian expat in Jerusalem. She's the creator of The Hairpin's irreverent comic series The League of Ordinary Ladies (and its corresponding line of tote bags); here, she shares her recipe for kreplach, Jewish meat-filled dumplings that make simple chicken soup all the more delicious.
