Ryan McCarthy

In his nearly 12 years in the hospitality/food and beverage industry, Ryan has worked as a dishwasher, line cook, sous chef, oyster shucker, professional bread baker, recipe developer, food stylist, writer, and a NYC private chef. He’s been with SAVEUR since the fall of 2021, when he started as freelance recipe tester. His favorite topics to cover (and eat) are bread, pasta, cheese, and seafood (especially raw bar!). He spent most of his life in New England, and is now based in New York City.
