This week’s recipe comic comes to us from the multitalented Jeannie Chen, a New York City-based food stylist, recipe tester, fashion illustrator, and cartoonist. Here, her simple, satisfying recipe for a quinoa salad topped with fresh herbs and avocado is a life-saver for a harried mom with a sauce-splashed kid — if only all television commercials were this useful!
Jeannie Chen‘s background includes a mix of arts and culinary, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in fashion design from Parsons School of Design, and later a culinary arts certificate from the Institute of Culinary Education.
