Last night in Austin, Texas, the International Association of Culinary Professionals gathered to hand out their annual awards. Among the big winners — including Dorie Greenspan, whose Around My French Table landed the coveted title of Cookbook of the Year — we’re thrilled to announce that two SAVEUR stories were recognized.
Alexander Lobrano’s beautiful Spirit of the Bistro, an immersive, thoughtful look at Paris’s culture of neighborhood restaurants that ran in Issue #133, won the Bert Greene award for Culinary Writing on a Restaurant and/or Chef, with or without recipes. Read the story here »
