Swedes eat heart-shaped waffles topped with whipped cream and jam made from cloudberries (blackberries' tangy cousin) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to celebrate the Annunciation, the Christian feast day commemorating the Virgin Mary's revelation that she was with child.
