This recipe is adapted from Deborah Madison’s The Savory Way (Bantam Books,1990). It’s a delicious on hot boiled potatoes.
Yield: makes 1/2 Cup
- 1⁄2 cup softened butter
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary leaves
- 2 tsp. minced fresh sage leaves
- 12 crushed juniper berries
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Combine 1⁄2 cup softened butter, 1 tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary leaves, 2 tsp. minced fresh sage leaves, 12 crushed juniper berries, and freshly ground black pepper to taste in a small bowl.
