Steeped in cinnamon and cloves, this nonalcoholic potion lends a warm, fragrant note to chilly nights.
Mulled Apple Cider
Quick and easy, this is a nice alternative to hot chocolate on those cold days and nights.
Yield: serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 cups apple cider
- 4 sticks cinnamon
- 12 whole cloves
Instructions
- Simmer cider, cinnamon sticks and cloves together in a medium pot over medium heat for 5 minutes (do not let cider boil).
- Put 1 cinnamon stick into each of four 10-oz. mugs and ladle some of the cider and cloves into each.
