Automatic Milk Frother
Steam-free foamed milk for your morning cup.
I love milk foam. I can eat it by the spoonful. But I'm too much of a wuss to crank up the steam setting on my espresso machine and make it myself. I fear the hot water that inevitably shoots out when I first open the valve, fear that it might leave me with the most bourgeois of scars, or even worse, target my cat, who couldn't care less about cappuccino. So I was thrilled when I tried the Nespresso Aeroccino Plus at a friends place. Much like a tiny electric kettle, the chrome pitcher plugs into the wall, and transforms cold milk to hot, voluminous milk with the push of a button. It even froths cold milk for iced coffee, and has a variety of whisks that craft different textures of foam. No fear, no burns, just light frothy milk, a happy cat, and a happy me.
