Raw cranberries and earthy walnuts are transformed into a tart, fresh condiment for turkey. This recipe, developed by chef Mary Sue Milliken, first appeared in our November 2013 issue with the story State of Grace.
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup walnut halves, lightly toasted
- 1⁄4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 (12-oz.) bag fresh cranberries
- 1 large orange, zested, then peeled and thinly sliced, seeds removed
