7-Piece Barware Set

There's something to be said for the elegance of an old-fashioned set of cocktail tools: burnished, wildly shaped metal, slick edges, a pleasing sculptural presence on your kitchen counter. The non-slip handles and soft grips on this OXO tool set aren't necessarily beautiful, and they'd look terribly anachronistic in a Probibition-inspired speakeasy or a velvet-walled absinthe den. But then again, there's also something to be said for tools that just really, really get the job done: when it's time for a cleanly strained Manhattan, a perfectly peeled lemon twist, or a jigger of tequila that won't spill, this set is what I reach for.
