A light, straw-colored beer that's crisp, refreshing and dry, Pilsners are brewed abundantly - you can find them almost anywhere beer is brewed around the world. The best of them are clean and elegant, with a balanced bitter hops presence that can carry through to the last note. The more complex versions may taste herbal, spicy and floral, with medium to high carbonation. They're a great balance to spicy, complex foods, but also bring out the best in simple, sweet desserts.
