Salmon Tartare

A simple mix of soy sauce, mirin, and cilantro flavors tender salmon for an elegant appetizer that requires very little prep time.


  • 8 oz. boneless skinless salmon filet, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. mirin
  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped cilantro, plus more for garnish
  • Kosher salt and finely ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fried wontons, for serving


Step 1

Combine salmon, soy sauce, mirin, cilantro, salt, and pepper; set aside. Serve with wontons.
