Porcelain Gelato Cup and Spoon

I spent a summer living in Florence when I was in college, during a season of record-high heat. As an act of self-preservation, I treated myself to a cooling scoop of gelato at least once a day. I worked my way through nearly every flavor available at gelaterias throughout the dusty-hot old city, where the scoops were always served in stout paper cups with little colored plastic paddles for spoons. Now, when I make my own gelato at home, I can serve it just like they did in Florence — but without the waste — with this sweet, sturdy porcelain cup and paddle set.
