Bourbon, a favorite spirit during World War I, is the star in this dark and piquant cocktail inspired by War Horse. This recipe was developed by Nitehawk Cinema's Beverage Director Jen Marshall.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. bourbon
- 3⁄4 oz. grenadine
- 1⁄2 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 3 dashes orange bitters
Instructions
Step 1
Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
