Dark Chocolate Kahlúa Fondue

This recipe is the winner of our "Uncover the Flavors" recipe contest, sponsored by Kahlua, and comes from Noelle Bothe of Uniontown, Ohio, who serves this fondue with fresh-cut fruit, marshmallows, and brownies and as a sauce for ice cream.

2 cups dark chocolate baking chips
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup Kahlua
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Pour water to a depth of 1" in a 4-qt. saucepan over medium heat and cover with a heatproof bowl. (Or, if you have one, set up a double boiler over medium heat.) Add chocolate and warm until melted. Add butter and, using a wooden spoon, stir until combined. Stir in cream until glossy and add Kahlua, cinnamon, salt, and cayenne. Serve fondue with cut fruit, marshmallows, or brownies, or drizzle over ice cream.
