Make eclairs glisten with this shiny and rich dark chocolate glaze.

Yield: makes enough glaze for 8 doughnuts
Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 18 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Mix chocolate, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl; set aside. Bring milk and butter to a boil in a 1-qt. pan. Pour over chocolate; let sit 2 minutes without stirring. Whisk until smooth.
