This menu can be ready in about half an hour with a bit of planning. As soon as you wake on Christmas morning, turn on the oven, make coffee and tea, and mix up the scone batter. Once the scones are in the oven, cook the mushrooms for the coddled eggs, then cook the bacon while the eggs finish in the oven with the scones. The milk punch, if serving, can be made the day before.
